Uses: used as tannage and bleaching agent of tanning industry and plant fiber. Printing and dyeing industry as dechlorination agent and bleach agent, for the scouring of a variety of cotton fabric to prevent partial oxidation of cotton fibers, affecting fiber strength, photographic industry as a developer, the organic industry as reducing agent for the production of m-phenylenediamine and aminosalicylic acid; textile industry as rayon stabilizer, also used in paper making, electronics, water treatment and other industries.
